Using the service
DismissLane coordinates school dismissal information among authorized school personnel and invited guardians. Use only accounts and school records you are authorized to access. Keep your sign-in codes, authenticator codes, and recovery codes private. Do not impersonate another pickup person or attempt to bypass school verification.
School decisions and family responsibilities
Schools control enrollment, guardian relationships, pickup permissions, exceptions, and in-person identity verification. Guardians must keep their own basic contact and vehicle information accurate and notify the school when pickup arrangements need to change. Follow school directions and never operate your device while driving.
Technology supports the handoff
GPS checks, QR passes, and realtime notifications assist the school workflow. They do not prove identity or authorize release. School staff remains responsible for verifying the person and completing the handoff under school policy. If the system is unavailable, follow the school’s approved fallback procedure.
Permitted content and access
Enter accurate, relevant information. Do not upload malicious files, send abusive content, misuse invitations, scrape student records, or test other people’s accounts without authorization. The service operator may suspend access where needed to protect schools, students, or the service.
Records and privacy
School records, activity logs, and account information are handled as described on the Privacy page and under the applicable school agreement. Contact the school for corrections, permission changes, or student-record requests. School-specific service agreements govern purchased services and may contain additional obligations.
Availability and service arrangements
Features, supported integrations, and rollout arrangements are described in the relevant school agreement. Public demonstration content is illustrative. Published pricing is not yet finalized, and submitting a demo request does not create a paid subscription or commitment.
